The products of this family-run business have quickly become popular at home and abroad thanks to their high quality. Some of the classic products are still available today, such as the Szerencsi Retró szelet (formerly known as Melódia), the Cat’s Tongue, the Animal ABC and Castle chocolates, the handmade Cognac Cherry „bonbon”. Since its foundation, their objectives have remained unchanged: to save, rescue and develop the production of sweets in Szerencs, which requires great expertise, dedication and experience, and to create jobs, and to cultivate and enhance the reputation of Szerencs. Since October 2015, Szerencs Chocolate has been awarded the title of Outstanding National Value and has been included in the Hungarian Inventory of Values.
