A 17th century old building hosts a famous wine cellar in the town of Berehove in Transcarpathia. The building was restored and included in the list of the most valuable monuments that have been preserved in Beregovo. This is a small family farm, where the owners are the proffesional wine makers. The farm specializes in dry vintage wines made using traditional technologies and aged in oak barrels. Among wines such as Bianca and Traminer or Merlot and Zweilgate, Müller-Thurgau wine is considered to be the pearl of the Old Wine Cellar. Beautifully arranged, the cellar gives the impression of the Middle Ages. Besides testing different kind of wine brands, one can lear about the history and the process of wine makinf in the region.
