Seven Hills Distillery

The distillery is located in Bodrogkisfalud, Tokaj region, Hungary in a renovated farmhouse. Nowadays, they welcome groups of tourists who can watch the way gin and whiskey are made, this being a tourist attraction.
Due to the owner’s passion for these drinks, he found this area perfect for producing, due to the humidity of the air. This circumstance makes this region very suitable for surface barrel storage.
Dénes, the owner says that the distillation process of gin itself is quite new here. The drink is made from a mixture of maize, rye and barley malt. Also, a lot of types of spices are added in the gins such as pine buds or albanian juniper, and most of them come from Zemplén mountains, Hungary. Their spirits have aroused the interest of the international audience and won several awards.
